Italian Design Rugs and Carpets, for Contract and Residential
Loloey was founded in 1963 in Milan and is known internationally as a manufacturer of custom carpets and rugs. A family business, with the DNA of an Italian and international company, it finds its entrepreneurial origins in the father Jalil Loloey and is led today by the second generation, the brothers Tony and William.
Our offices in Milan and Las Vegas, and our representatives in Europe, the United States and the Middle East, allow us to offer custom carpets and rugs, with a wide range of techniques and materials to suit every need. We serve the hospitality, marine, gaming and luxury residential sectors, ensuring a high level of planning, management and service for every project.
We work with some of the world’s most celebrated architecture and interior design firms, such as Rockwell Group, HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates, Richmond, Stonehill Taylor and Tihany Design.
A dedicated team is responsible for the creation of each product, ensuring that it fits the specific requirements, following the development of the entire process, from initial concept to installation. Four Seasons, Marriott, Langham, Hilton, Warwick and Mandarin Oriental are just a few of the brands that rely on Loloey carpets for their hotels. We also have a private clientele for whom we have developed luxury residential carpets, from Qatar to Russia, and from Dubai to Kazakhstan.
Over 50 years of experience, between tradition and innovation
1963 – Loloey is founded. Jalil Loloey, hailing from Mashhad in Persia, moves to Italy and settles in Milan where he opens his first carpet showroom. All the rugs on sale have all been personally selected by him for their quality and rarity. Jalil travels the world in search of the finest examples to import for the Italian public.
1990s – Jalil’s sons William and Tony join their father’s business. The inherit their father’s love for quality and ambitiously drive it towards new market trends.
2000s – Loloey starts designing and manufacturing its own rugs. The quality offered and the product knowledge mean the company fame grows rapidly, becoming a reference for high-end furniture stores.
2005 – The logistics center opens in Vercelli. Loloey enters the made-to-order luxury residential sector, with its highly customized and extremely valuable rugs.
Early 2010s – The company expands. The current offices and showroom are inaugurated just outside Milan. The Loloey brothers further sharpen their commercial offer and take on large orders in the contract and hospitality sectors.
2016 – Loloey launches the first of its capsule collections, developed by Daniel Libeskind.
2017 – Sectors of activity expand once again and Loloey starts supplying carpets for the nautical segment – cruise ships and private yachts.
2020s – Innovation and quality continue to be the company’s main values. For each project, the brothers William and Tony and the whole Loloey team commit to developing rugs and carpets of the highest quality and stylistic standards. Today a Loloey carpet is a contemporary classic, which intertwines ancient and modern, declined for every type of space, with an eclectic style at its core.
Our products enjoy the most rigorous safety, environmental and quality standards.
Green Label Plus for Indoor Air Quality

The Carpet and Rug Institute has launched Green Label Plus programs, which set high standards for indoor air quality and ensure that the products included in the certification are the lowest emitting products available.
IMO certification for Marine Projects
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) wants to reduce the risk of flammable textiles such as carpet. Loloey carpet is Wheelmark (MED) certified, which ensures that it is fire retardant and safe.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS), developed by Control Union Certifications is a voluntary, comprehensive international product standard that establishes requirements for certification of recycled materials, chain of custody, social and environmental responsibility practices, and chemical use restrictions.
